NEW to Rattan And Teak’s collection is the Tarasola Technic Pro, a new version of the flagship roofing which is the Tarasola Technic. Due to new improvements it is much more functional and visually attractive. The reduction of screw connections to a minimum gives the roof the most modern look. A distinctive feature, which aids usability and design is the integrated roller blind system inside the canopy frame which means the structure has a minimalist, cubic form.  

This new frame design equips the canopy with both screen and glazing roller blinds which looks much more elegant, as it does not require the presence of a separate ZIP cassette. The water drainage system of the lamellas has also been modified for the Technic Pro, with more advanced solution to reduce the splashing of drops and their entry under the canopy. 

Manufactured in high quality, toughened durable Aluminium that has been powder coated in any choice of RAL colour. The Tarasola Technic offers features that can adapt to any weather, so you can make the most of your outside space all year round. A vented roof designed to cope with rain and snow

The roof of the Tarasola Essential features rows of roof vents made from the same durable material as the gazebo frame. Any rain that falls drains to the sides of the roof and then runs along the channels provided, before being guided down the inside of the metal leg poles.

The roof is also strong enough to bear the weight of heavy snow, although the manufacturer recommends opening the vents when it snows, to prevent a very heavy snow build up.

The panels are made of louvres, which, thanks to the possibility of adjusting the angle of their inclination, ensure control over sunlight. In turn, the division into two sections makes it possible to illuminate that part of the protected area which is particularly important to us. As in the case of glazing, shutters are characterised by modularity, which makes it possible to group them and cover a larger area. The cascade system makes it possible to install shutters in such a way that they slide down in one direction or symmetrically in both directions, hiding behind each other and thus letting in more light and making the space more accessible, yet still providing an intimate place to rest.

Glass system stands for being close to nature and keeping the distance in the same time. As its installation is not complicated and it offers many benefits for its users, it fits into any architectonical context and can be installed in various spaces such as pergolas, balconies, terraces and conference rooms. These mouldings protect against tough weather conditions: wind, rain, snow, dirt and noise, not limiting the visibility. Non-frame sliding mouldings are almost invisible when closed. Glass used in the construction is safe for use. System allows using mouldings from 50 to 120 cm width which move on trolleys.

Erecting your bioclimatic pergola

The bioclimatic pergola can be erected on most surfaces. However, we always recommend anchoring the bioclimatic pergola to the ground, so make sure you have something substantial enough to anchor into before we start your build.

We would recommend erecting the pergola on decking, concrete or patio slabs that are cemented down. Please be aware that your warranty will not cover you for damage caused to a pergola that has not been adequately secured to the ground.
