The sun was shining as we set up our stand for the first of our three September 2018 Wedding Fayres, and we couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful setting.
Our stand at The Welcombe Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon had a beautiful view over the hotel gardens and the Avon valley, and Wayne and his team at Perfect Brides, the show organisers, couldn’t have been more welcoming.
We were there to promote our Wedding List Gift Ideas, including our Love Seats and Couples’ Benches and our Celebration Benches which can be personalised with a laser engraving. The brides and grooms to be who came to see us, loved the idea of creating such a unique, bespoke gift, and more than one potential groom joked about how he would certainly never forget his wedding anniversary if he could have the date of the big day engraved for ever in quality teak.
Visitors had the chance to try out, touch and feel four of our most beautiful benches: our bridal Pink Painted Lutyens Bench, our Betjeman Sustainable Teak High Back Garden Bench (which is perfect for engraving), our stunning and ever so romantic Chesterton Sustainable Teak Curved Back Bench and our gorgeous Tete a Tete Conversation Bench, which is ideal for loved-up couples.
Our benches also came in handy as extra seating for the Fashion Show too, as the crowds flocked to the catwalk next to the Rattan And Teak stand, for a display of some of the latest designs in bridal gowns.
Undoubtedly though, one of the stars of the show yesterday on the Rattan And Teak stand was our bright red VW Beetle Metal Drinks Cooler. “Oh, I love that!” and “Ah, look, a beetle. That’s gorgeous,” was heard many times as couples stopped to chat and to hear about our gift list ideas. The beetle looked great, packed full of bottles of bubbly, and visitors who signed up to our newsletter at the show also received an entry into our draw to win the contents.
Our draw will take place on Monday 1st October, so come along to see us at either of our next two Bridal Shows for your chance to win before the draw closes.
