This Roman 1.5m Teak Garden Bench offers fantastic value for money. It is a real heavyweight in the bench world. The bench has a gently curved seat, strong, close-together struts on the slanted backrest, and smooth arm rests that are pleasingly rounded on the ends.

This garden bench can withstand regular use and will therefore suit commercial premises, including parks, schools, hotels and civic buildings, as well as domestic settings. 

Measuring 1.5m in length (1492mm to be exact), the bench will comfortably seat 3 people.

Quality craftsmanship

The Roman bench is made of solid teak and imported from Thailand where the manufactures have a reputation for producing the highest quality teak furniture in the world today.  And, looking at our Roman 1.5 Metre bench you can see why. The timber will form small, natural cracks with time and so will weather naturally without deteriorating or splitting. The ageing process , particularly for the highest grades of  of teak is a classic silver-grey and those who know a bit about teak will be familiar with this. The bench is finished to the highest specification with mortice and tenon joints reinforced with teak dowels to prevent that wobble over time you get with inferior models that use bolts to hold them together. The highest grade certified teak is our preferred wood for outdoor furniture due to its high oil content and dense nature that make it perfect for outdoor use as the wood is naturally protected. For cosmetic purposes you can use a mild, soapy water mix on a warm day and remove the silver-grey aspect to return it to the original golden hue.
