Namib Wall Mounted Aluminium Pergola 3m x 3m.
5 Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee.
NEW to Rattan And Teak’s Gazebo collection is this great value, 3m x 3m square, grey aluminium, wall mounted pergola with a sloping, open and close vented roof.
We think the beauty of the Namib Pergola is its simplicity. Its design is sleek, minimalistic and contemporary; it is virtually maintenance free; and its vented roof can be opened and closed quickly and with ease.
Unlike the free-standing Namib gazebo, the wall mounted version has two legs instead of four, with brackets that enable you to fix the crossbeams to a wall at one end. This enables you to create a wonderful extension to your home, office or commercial premises. So whether you want to step outside into a shady spot on your patio, deck or outdoor area, whether you want to provide somewhere to dine or sit that is close to your patio doors and yet is sheltered from the rain, or whether you just want a stunning architectural structure that allows the sun to shine through in the daytime or enables you to sit and gaze up at the stars at night, this lovely modern pergola is for you.
Great quality at a great price
The Namib Wall Mounted Pergola is manufactured from toughened aluminium that has been powder coated in a gorgeous matte silver grey colour. This durable coating not only means that your pergola will remain rust free, but it is also UV resistant, so the colour will not fade over time.
While being marginally lighterweight than our Mojave Gazebo range, the Namib pergolas are robust enough to be suitable for commercial use as well as for use in domestic settings, and they come with a confidence-boosting 5 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. So they will be an impressive, long-lasting addition to any outdoor landscape.
A sloping, vented roof designed to cope with rain and snow
The roof of the Namib wall mounted aluminium pergola features rows of roof vents made from the same durable material as the gazebo frame. However, unlike the free-standing model, this version has a sloping roof, angled to assist water drainage away from your wall.
As with a traditional pergola, when they are open, the vents allow the sun to pass through. However, when the vents are closed (which is easily done using one of the two winding mechanisms located in the back two corners of the roof) they are water tight. Any rain that falls drains to the sides of the roof and then runs along the channels provided, before being guided down the inside of the two hollow metal leg poles.
The roof is also strong enough to bear the weight of snow, although the manufacturer recommends opening the vents when it snows, to prevent a very heavy snow build up.
Erecting your pergola
The pergola comes with full Assembly Instructions and can be erected on most surfaces. However, we always recommend anchoring the pergola to the ground as well as to the wall, so make sure you have something substantial enough to anchor into before you start your build.
We would recommend erecting the pergola on decking, concrete or patio slabs that are cemented down. So if you want to site the pergola on grass or astroturf, we would recommend digging a footing and laying a concrete pad where each foot of the pergola will sit, then you can anchor into that rather than just soil, which will not hold the anchor bolts in strong winds. Please be aware that your warranty will not cover you for damage caused to a pergola that has not been adequately secured to the ground.
If you would rather not assemble your gazebo yourself, then Rattan And Teak offers an expert Pergola Construction Service. To take advantage of this service, just add this option to your basket before checkout.

What is the difference between a Namib Pergola and a Mojave Gazebo?
Our Namib Pergolas are available in some different sizes to the Mojave Gazebos, so can be a fantastic alternative if none of the Mojave sizes are quite right for your space. The pergolas are open sided, so no side screens or fixed fence panels are available for them, but they do have the advantage of a slightly higher frame, meaning the pergolas can give that bit of additional clearance if being built over a hot tub or close to a door or opening window.
The aluminium used on a Namib pergola is marginally thinner than on the Mojave gazebos. However, it is still more than tough and durable enough to withstand commercial use as well as everyday domestic use.
The assembly of a pergola takes longer to complete than it does with a Mojave gazebo because of the need to attach each individual roof vent in turn – but this is not a complicated process. Just allow yourself a bit of extra time, keep the cups of tea coming, and you will be fine.
The Namib 3m x 3m Wall Mounted Pergola has a single set of roof vents, which run the full width of the pergola, compared to the two panels of roof shutters on the Mojave of the same size. So you have slightly less control, but this does help to keep the price competitive.
