Caring for your table and chairs

The Leatherhead Table is easy to keep clean with a damp cloth. Windex or mild soap and water are recommended for daily cleaning. Wipe up all liquids with paper towels. Please never use bleach on your table – Bleach reacts very strong with zinc and will leave marks.

Zinc is a reactive metal that stats with a distinctive blue-grey hue and will develop a hazy-grey patina over time. This patina will continue to evolve throughout the lifetime of you table. Our tabletops do not have a coating. They are actual metal. Imperfections including slight scratches, pinholes, and soldering marks can be expected on your zinc tabletop. They help to create the country charm of this rustic metal. Hammered and textured zinc products will have a wavy, undulated surface and will not be machined flat.
