Karoo Wall Screen House Gazebo 300m x 360cm.
An ingenious, wall mounted, solid roof gazebo or screen house that offers a flexible outdoor space which you can enjoy all year round
The Karoo Small Wall Screen House Gazebo is a perfect solution for those who want to create an outdoor living or dining space, sun lounge or hot tub shelter, without incurring the expense of a brick and glass conservatory.
The Wall Screen House frame is made from anti-rust, grey powder-coated aluminum that has been reinforced with steel for added strength and stability. Meanwhile, the roof and side panels are made from tough mica with a cross-cross, square lattice window like pattern.
There are sliding doors on all three sides of the screen house, allowing the air to flow through and keep you cool on those hot days and to give you a sense of being outside, whilst enjoying the shelter that the gently sloping roof provides.
The roof panels are slightly tinted to create better shade from the sun and keep you nice and cool, even when the temperature outside is soaring, without making the whole structure too dark.
From a party gazebo to an orangery
What we love about our Karoo Wall Shelters is that they are tougher than a traditional gazebo with a canopy or curtains, enabling you to make it a permanent fixture next to your property and use it all year round, no matter what the weather. The gazebo can become an extension of your home or entertainment space, can be used for outdoor dining, can be filled with outdoor sofas and armchairs to create an outdoor lounge area, or can be filled with plants to create an orangery, greenhouse or conservatory. The wall screen house could also provide shelter for your hot tub or jacuzzi, and being mounted on the wall, around an existing doorway, you don’t have to be exposed to the elements on your way to and from your hot tub on those chillier days and nights.
Erecting your Screen House
Although the Screen House can be erected on hard or soft surfaces, your surface does need to be level. So please even out the surface before building and make sure that it is possible to secure the shelter adequately to the ground. If you are erecting the screen house on slabs or on a brick-paved patio, then we strongly recommend that you create a concrete footing beneath that surface, where each leg of the screen house will sit, so that the screen house can be anchored through the slabs or bricks into the concrete.
We also recommend using a silicone sealer on each mica panel when putting your gazebo together. Not only will this help to fix the panels in place, it will also increase their strength and resistance to the wind.
The wall screen house comes with full assembly instructions and we are happy to give advice and support over the telephone or by email if you are unsure how to go about the assembly. Depending on your experience, assembly is likely to take 4 to 6 hours to complete and we recommend having 2 people available at the point where the roof and side panels are fitted to the walls as this can be fiddly for the first time installer.
Please note: Our Assembly Service does not include ground preparation works.
