Karoo Large Rectangular Screen House Gazebo Polycarbonate Solid Roof 365cm x 430cm.
An ingenious, solid roof gazebo or screen house for either commercial or domestic use
The Karoo Large Rectangular Screen House Gazebo enables you to enjoy your outdoor space all year round, offering a structure that is more rigid and permanent than a traditional, canopy based gazebo.
The Screen House frame is made from anti-rust, grey powder-coated aluminum that has been reinforced with steel for added strength and stability, and to create a contemporary look, the fixed side panels feature a cross-cross, window like pattern. Covering this criss-cross frame is a synthetic outer overlay as well as an inner synthetic gauze.
The Karoo Small Square Screen House Gazebo also features strong polycarbonate roof panels and fixed side panels with a tough, plastic film lining.
Both the roof panels and the film in the side panels are dark tinted to create better shade from the sun and keep you nice and cool, even when the temperature outside is soaring. Meanwhile the sliding doors, which are built into all four sides of the Screen House, comprise a single inner gauze, also tinted, allowing the air to flow while keeping the insects at bay.
From a party gazebo to an orangery
What we love about the Karoo Medium Square Screen House is that it is tougher than a gazebo with canopy, enabling you to make it a permanent fixture in your outdoor space and use it all year round, no matter what the weather. Furthermore, because it can be set on both slabbed and wooden decking surfaces, it can be erected anywhere you like, meaning it can become an extension of your home or entertainment space, can be used for outdoor dining, can be filled with outdoor sofas and armchairs to create an outdoor lounge area, or can be filled with plants to create an orangery, greenhouse or conservatory. Note, the screen house should not be erected on grass.
Erecting your Screen House
Although the Screen House can be erected on hard or soft surfaces, your surface does need to be level. So please even out the surface before building. Also, the screen house feet must be secured to the ground.
We also recommend using a silicone sealer on each polycarbonate panel when putting your Screen House roof together. Not only will this help to fix the panels in place, it will also increase its strength and resistance to the wind.
How long will it take to erect? The screen house comes with full assembly instructions and we are happy to give advice and support over the telephone or by email if you are unsure how to go about the assembly. Depending on your experience, assembly is likely to take 4 to 6 hours to complete and we recommend having 2 people available at the point where the roof is fitted to the walls as this can be fiddly for the first time installer.
If you are erecting the screen house on slabs or on a brick-paved patio, then we strongly recommend that you create a concrete footing beneath that surface, where each leg of the screen house will sit, so that the screen house can be anchored through the slabs or bricks into the concrete.
Please note: Our Assembly Service does not include ground preparation works.
