Made from high quality teak, this ingenious Constable Large Extending Teak Garden Dining Table, has been hand-made and hand finished to such a high specification that we challenge you to feel the joins in its surface. The wood feels so beautifully smooth.

Maximum flexibility: 3 levels of extension, choice of 2 shapes

The Constable Large Extending Teak Garden Dining Table is a good size even when at its smallest, at 2.4m in length, when it is able to seat up to 6 diners. But on those occasions when you need even more space, all you need to do is slide the two halves apart using the easy-release metal fasteners, to reveal two pull up and fold out panels. You can extend the table to an interim level of 2.7m to seat up to 8 diners, or slide the two haves out to the table’s maximum extension of 3m to seat up to 10 diners.

But whichever level of extension you choose, you can be sure that your Constable Large Extending Teak Garden Dining Table won’t lose its strength and stability for easy-release, metal fasteners on the underside hold the extending parts firmly in place.

Furthermore, the table top is also very cleverly designed so that at all 3 levels of extension, the centre slat remains in its original position allowing you to use the ready-made 51mm hole in the centre for a parasol or a heater. When you don’t want to use a parasol, there is a neat, removable teak plug to keep your table looking neat and tidy.

Oval or rectangle? Choose the shape you like best

Our Constable outdoor dining tables are loved for their clean, crisp and contemporary design, which is simple and pleasing to the eye. And for this extendable table you have a choice of two shapes: you can have the table with soft, curved oval ends or, if you prefer, with rectangular ends.

But the fact that it is manufactured from top quality teak means that it is simply perfect for outdoor use and can stay outside all year round with little or no maintenance required. This is because teak has many natural qualities that make it durable and weather resistant. Having a high natural oil content, teak is water resistant and resistant to damage from chemicals, fire and insects. 

Its natural colour is a lovely golden honey shade, and with time this gradually turns into an attractive silver grey. However, if you prefer the golden patina, then all you need to do is wash the table down with soap and water and the original colour will return.
