A vented roof designed to cope with rain and snow

The roof of the Accona aluminium Pergola features rows of roof vents made from the same durable material as the gazebo frame. Any rain that falls drains to the sides of the roof and then runs along the channels provided, before being guided down the inside of the hollow metal leg poles.

The roof is also strong enough to bear the weight of snow, although the manufacturer recommends opening the vents when it snows, to prevent a very heavy snow build up.

Side screens unrivalled for strength and beauty

Add shade and privacy with the Deluxe Side Screen. Compatible with the Accona Pergola and crafted from a superb contract fabric with incredible durability, specially formulated from yarns developed to withstand wear and tear for many years of outdoor use. The updated model of side cassette adds an element of weatherproofing, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor area with added protection from the wind and rain due to the side of the screens being zipped into the frame.

Built with spring-loaded runners meaning you can pull down and fix the screen at three different stop positions, and then when released they will roll back into its casing. They are slightly transparent allowing light in but provides shade and privacy to your terrace.

These Deluxe Side Screens are built with the highest quality aluminium casing and screen fabric made from Textilene, a PVC coated woven polyester non-stretch yarn – it is unrivalled for strength and is also flame retardant, heat sealable, mildew resistant and stable under either hot or cold temperatures. Tested up to wind force 8.

These screens require minimal maintenance, with colours that remain crisp and vibrant after years of continuous outdoor exposure, even under the most severe weather conditions.

Erecting your pergola

The pergola can be erected on most surfaces. However, we always recommend anchoring the pergola to the ground, so make sure you have something substantial enough to anchor into before we start your build.

We would recommend erecting the pergola on decking, concrete or patio slabs that are cemented down. So if you want to site the gazebo on grass or astroturf, we would recommend digging a footing and laying a concrete pad where each foot of the gazebo will sit, then you can anchor into that rather than just soil, which will not hold the anchor bolts in strong winds. Please be aware that your warranty will not cover you for damage caused to a pergola that has not been adequately secured to the ground.

The 3.6m x 3m Accona Pergola measures 308cm x 370cm from outer leg post edge to outer leg post edge.Outside length is the measurement from footplate to footplate, these can be removed if needed. Please refer to the drawing for further dimensions.

The pergola is 250cm tall increasing to 257.5cm when the louvers are open. The underside of the roof bean is 236cm high.  

The post width is 11cm x 11cm and the footplate is 17cm x 17cm (these can be removed if necessary)

The recommended minimum size of the patio area is 340cm x 400cm.  

3.6m x 4m

The 3.6m x 4m Accona Pergola measures 408cm x 370cm from outer leg post edge to outer leg post edge.Outside length is the measurement from footplate to footplate, these can be removed if needed. Please refer to the drawing for further dimensions.

The pergola is 250cm tall increasing to 257.5cm when the louvers are open. The underside of the roof bean is 236cm high.
