In our last Coronavirus (Covid-19) statement on 18th March, we promised that we would be continuing to track this fast changing situation and making any changes necessary to comply with the latest Government advice.
Our key priority at Rattan And Teak remains the same: to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, suppliers and staff, while doing everything we can to continue with as much of our business as usual. However, in the light of the Prime Minister’s announcements last night, and the new restrictions being placed on the movement of people, we are now taking a number of further measures and additional safety precautions.
The Rattan And Teak online shop will remain open and we will continue to take orders, liaising directly with individual customers over expected delivery timescales.
Our delivery service will continue to operate as normal but may take a little longer than usual. Assembly and installation activities that require a 2 man team will be undertaken following social distancing guidelines, for example maintaining 2 meter distance from customers, not entering the customers property and wearing face masks where appropriate.
To manage workload we will be using third party couriers and pallet delivery services more than usual. We understand that these changes will bring some inconvenience and disappointment to our customers, but we hope you will understand that keeping everyone safe has to be our priority.
All of the safety procedures outlined in our Coronavirus (Covid-19) statement of 18th March will continue to be adhered to and our delivery team will continue to work to strict hygiene guidelines when loading and unloading, and carrying out deliveries.
